CHIP TIMING!
NEW for the 2010 RiverFront Run
Each 5K participant will be professionally timed using the ChronoTrack Timing Systems. This state of the art disposable UHF RFID timing system will give runners an accurate result of their 5K times, courtesy of Event Tech. The 1-Mile race is not a timed event.

What is CHIP TIMING?
The "D-tag," a light weight disposable timing tag will record a runner's official time, beginning when a participant crosses the start line and concluding as he or she passes the finish.
On race day, runners simply secure the D-tag through their shoelaces and they are ready to run. After crossing the finish, runners do not need to return the tag and can dispose of it at their convenience.
Click here for step-by-step instructions and photos for securing the timing tag.
